This is the specialty of Baboon Filmes.
We have traveled many miles to capture images around the world. We create special content, documentaries and news reports, always with light, efficient teams, to tell good stories with interesting characters and striving for photographic quality.
Since 2003, Baboon Filmes has been producing, capturing and editing stories for national and international organizations and major media companies such as Rede Record TV, Brazil TV, UNICEF, Itau Cultural, Carta Capital, CPFL Cultura, Globo TV, HBO BRAZIL, RYOT NEWS, among others.
Mini DOCs are short films up to 10 minutes that seek to portray the essence of a place, people or a theme. Creativity, Photography and Sound build the soul of these videos.
We work in partnership with journalism departments of different communication platforms.
Guidelines set, teams launched to the field.

Facts and Figures. Our raw material.
The films were scripted and designed from the lecture series conducted by CPFL Cultura.
In 2009, TV Brazil, the Brazilian Enterprise Communication (EBC), held a public auction - the first of its kind in Brazil - in which various Brazilian independent producers competed for the right to produce the "Nova Africa" program, fully captured on the African continent. After 7 months of competition, Baboon Filmes was the winner.
The series had 32 episodes produced in 17 African countries and has become a landmark in Brazilian independent production by the way the continent is covered, with topics ranging from economics to cultural manifestations, including human development experiences and examples of cooperation with Brazil.
The stock images of Baboon Filmes today have over 5000 hours of selected material on politics, conflicts, economic and social development, exotic destinations, peoples, races, cultures, landscapes, religions, flora and fauna from five continents, representing one of the most comprehensive image banks of its kind in Brazil.
Thousands of photos and video footage, captured over the last 13 years in more than 100 trips and expeditions.
